The beautiful Billo is forcefully engaged to a suitor Nain Sukh by her cruel stepmother Shahni while her father Bauntar Mal watches helplessly. Unable to stand her stepmother’s treatment, Billo leaves home.

Subsequently, Billo is attacked by the scoundrel Labhu Ram. She is rescued by a kind-hearted tonga driver Fauji, who provides her shelter in his own house. Fauji’s brother, Mauji is surprised to find the young and beautiful Billo at home when he returns from work. The two soon fall in love, and take a sacred oath to remain faithful to each other forever.

Meanwhile, Nain Sukh and Bauntar Mal travel to the city in search of Billo. They enlist the help of Labhu Ram. When Mauji and Billo return home after they have sanctified their vows, they are shocked to find Labhu Ram and Nain Sukh there, accompanied by the police. Mauji and Fauji are both arrested on charges of abducting Billo.

The two lovers are separated, and Billo is left alone to face the atrocities inflicted by Labhu and Nain Sukh. Fortunately, the court finds the two brothers innocent, and Billo is reunited with Mauji.
